2015 Summer Workshops Announced: Story Theater and Theater Games

We’re offering two improvisational theater intensives this summer. Players are invited to attend one or both.

Workshop A: Theater Game Intensive with Aretha Sills, July 27-31

The Theater Game Intensive is a concentrated course in playing Viola Spolin’s exercises. Beginners and experienced players are welcome.

Workshop B: Story Theater Intensive with Carol Bleackley Sills, August 3-7 Story Theater is an art form evolved by Paul Sills that allows the transformation of stories or literature into onstage contemporary performance. Over a five day period, players participate in the adaptation of stories and play Spolin theater games during a process that leads to group performance on the final afternoon.
